Many of us had a great time at the bugs and butterflies workshop and the tissuepaper flower workshop. I want to thank all of you that came and cut and ironed and folded and fluffed. Members have been turning in wonderful handmade items for the Mini-Raffle. The deadline for getting items turned in is May 3rd. Desi is the chair for the mini-raffle and is collecting the items. She can also answer any questions you might have.

The
countdown stands at 2.5 months. Sign up sheets to work shifts at
the quilt show will be passed around starting at the next meeting.
Turn in your entry forms and photos to Margi Duffy. If she isn't
available, you can give them to me. Entry forms for the handbag
challenge will be available at the next meeting and online soon
too.
The handbag with the most viewer's choice votes will get
to take this quilt home.|
Round Robins

The Round Robins will be beginning on June 1st. There will be three different choices to choose from. Strippers - There will be a maximum of 40 inches per strip width. You can have a theme or color if you like. Please make the first strip.
Crazy Quilt Block - Make a crazy block 18 inches or 20 inches on a muslin back. Use any kind of fabric. These blocks will then be embellished by each person in turn. I will have a sign up sheet at the March 30th meeting. I will get the sign up sheet to Mary Gess for the Day Lilies March 28th meeting. Start thinking about which one you would like to make, or you could do all three! ~Desi |
Pizza
Box - Any theme or color. You will be in charge of getting your
own box. Optional: decorate your box.

Chairperson for Baby Stockings

I would like for everyone to know that Georgia Wade is now in charge of the Baby Stockings. I would also like to thank everyone for their wonderful baby stockings that they have created over the last few years. It has been a pleasure being the Baby Stockings Chairperson.
