elcome to the Calico Quilters Website. We are located in Bishop, California, which is nestled at the base of the majestic Eastern High Sierra. While the Bishop area is renowned for its many incredible creeks, sparkling lakes, abundant fishing and camping, it is also home to the Calico Quilters Guild. Our guild was established in 1986, with 9 members joining. Our current membership stands at 68. We are an active guild, with monthly meetings, workshops, small group activities and current community service projects. We actively share our love of quilts, their history, and the artistry of quiltmaking. We strive to embrace all quilters, from experts to beginners, from the devoted to the part-time hobbyist. We are always, stitching memories.
